Brand, type of TDS Metter, need advice

Post by Xster »

What kind/brand of TDS meter is everyone using? How does it work for you?

Mine sucks. I tried to calibrate but it still gives me different reading from zero to 100 on the same cup of water. Go figure :? It jumps like crazy. Maybe I dropped it too hard one time. I don't know. Need help in picking out a decent one.

I use whatever they sell at www.airwaterice.com I have no idea on the specifics, but it reads reliably... I think there's specs on the website, they're only like $25 or so if I remember right.

I got one from Air Water Ice, and have had it a week. I am prett impressed for how cheap it was. Seems to check the TDS just fine and does not waver on the readings. Did not see a way to calibrate it though.
