trip to kens

Hello,
I just came back from Kens(Destin)and he still has alot of nice caps and acro frags for sale.He must of been saling alot of frags since the last time I went over there about a month ago.He is really a good source to get frags from and would recommend anyone to go check him out for frags and reasonable pricing.He told me today he posted or is going to post 10 for $100

So, what did you get? Got any pics? I am going there next weekend and hope to pick up a few really nice frags. I have gotten frags from Ken before and couldn't have been happier with them.

Hello,
Just picked up some more cap(purple,green,orange)and a few more acro frags.When you go check out the encrusting montipora frag I traded or actually gave him.It has bright purple polyps(christmas tree light color of purple).I hope he is happy with it because I need to let the poor thing heal from the last time I fragged it for a friend of mine.

I got a frag of his orange cap in November of 2002. It was about the size of a 50 cent coin and now it is about half the size of a dinner plate and starting to tier. Oh, I have also fragged it about 4 or 5 times. the only other thing that I have that might grow faster is a orange digitata that also came from Ken. I am going to get a soli and efflo. Not sure what else. Ken is a great guy to deal with.

That encrusting Monti sounds like a frag that I have. Mine is tan with purple or blue polyps and they really stand out like they are lit up. I haven't been able to get a good pic of it yet but I'll post it as soon as I do.

Scott,
Sounds like the same monti,I bought the whole thing from Richard @ water world for 70 bucks and frag it a few time since then.Ken wanted a piece so I took him some yesterday when I went to get some more cap.He had some encrusting monti with green polyps but I guess he wasnt fragging it yet.He says his caps grow like 2in a month.Thats the kind of growth I am looking to achieve oneday If I ever figure this ca reactor crap out
