I'm start up a 240 gallon tank saltwater ( fish only) the skimmer is a BerlinX-L w/ the pumps as ViaAqua model 4900 are this good to use on a fish only tank?Thank you very much,

Even though the XL model is rated for a 400 gallon tank i would really be cautious not to overload the tank. Manufacturers over rate all of there equipment to try to sell it, and also to compete with the other guys. I do not know anything about the pump though.
