snails

I have a few turbo grazers i think lol I found a new smaller snail in my tank tonight that looks like it is growing a shell on its back like the others. Could this be a new snail that just appeared or a old snail that somehow came out of its shell? It is maybe about the size of a dime. The new shell it is growing and is small but you can see the roundness to it and the tip.

our turbo grazers had babies, they grow pretty quick, could be what it is.
