Clowns Nibbling on a fuzzy mushroom

Post by enteri_00 »

Hey all I know this seems like a really simple question but I have been watching the tank lately and have noticed that my clowns like to go up to this fuzzy mushroom that I have and chew on the edge of it...is this normal? Do clowns normally bite into corals? Just curious...any thoughts welcome...thanks

Well they will most of the time if they are trying to host with it, I have seem them bite of even chew on corals when they are hosting. It is a love bite.

so then it is normal for the clowns to give a little "love" to the coral...I didn't know that I thought they would just hop on and away they go to hosting...interesting I will have to keep a closer eye on the situation!!!
