When buying salt, is one brand better than another or are they all the same?

I have had no trouble maintaining calcium and alkalinity levels with any of the major salt brands, such as Instant Ocean, Kent, Oceanic, Red Sea. However, as far as "trace element" concentrations go, most are practically toxic. Instant Ocean seems to contain less overall, so it would be a good compromise (but still usually has good Calcium and alk, if you are concerned) and negates the need to add any trace elements.
