Anemone in a blender.

Post by Snakeman »

Today I came home to find pieces of my large anemone all over my tank. The supid thing streched all the way over to a power head and got sucked into it. Does anybody know how much damage an Anemone can take and will it regrow its tentacles?

Been there, done that. Except all I could see was the foot sticking out of the powerhead. I think as long as the water quality is good and not too much is missing it may recover. What kind of anenome was it? How much of it is gone. I have seen my condi lose tentacles before due to an over agressive skunk clown and it never missed a beat.

I forgot the name of the kind but it's one of those big white one you can get for like $5.00 at B&B. It looks like about 50 to 70% of it's tentacles are gone.
