Happy New Year to everyone. My name is Joy Giacchina. I live in Mobile
Alabama. I have many hobbies, saltwater reef tanks being my favorite.
I have had freshwater Aquariums most of my life. I decided to try saltwater 2 years ago. I have had much luck with my first reef tank.
I have still so much to learn. During the Ivan storm my tank crashed.
What a loss. I have bounced right back with the help of Jeff and Scott.
I was able to get new frags and also bought some neat corals. My reef tank is a 90 gal set up. I am using the Aqualight pro from hellolights.
The lighting consist of 48" 4x65WCoralife Lunar Aqualight. 2x Actinic
and 2x 10,000K, 3x 3/4W Blue LEDs- straight pin. The unit came with 2 built in fans. I have been pleased with this light for about 3 months now. I plan to add 1x 175W MH within the next few weeks. I plan on starting my photo display this week. I have a pond in the back yard where I raise Koi & Goldfish. I will be able to make the meeting this month
in Fairhope. I know I will enjoy being able to talk to others who share in the same hobby. I have four children, 3 grandchildren. I also have 3
Toy Poodles. I will plan on showing Diablo this year. I still have Alexandra
9 & Dillon 7 at home with me. "It's true I tell you", my favorite saying.
