What mught this be???

I have some kind of worm, long tube made out of sand and small pieces of shell. its tube is about 18 inchs long and getting longer. Any Idea what this ia and do I want this in my Reef tank. My blue Tang is missing, could it have eaten it??? Help

there is a pic of it . it has these long tenicle like things. they look like hair. Strange to me..
