Local Snails?

Post by KrazyPlace »

I have a bunch of large snails (1"-2") that I collected from Little Lagoon just inside the pass earlier this spring. Their shell looks a little like a Florida Fighting Conch, but the body is more like a Turbo Snail.

I was wondering what else you guys have collected locally and where? I'd like to add some more (different) snails to my reef tank. I'll add a picture of my snails later tonight after I get home.

you know where P'cola Beach is right? well when you come over the Toll bridge from Gulf Breeze, you hang a right at the p'cola beach parking lot(the one with the big beachball water tower). Just drive down it all the way. It costs $8/vehicle but that gets you in for a week
