TDS readings.

Post by Snakeman »

I check my RO water with the TDS meter and it showed 1ppm. My tap water showed 49ppm. How high do you let it get before you replace the Ro filters?

1ppm can just be a slightly dirty bucket. 1ppm is not shit for changing, maybe if it gets up to 10ppm.

was reading a thread the other day on rc, that's a really good tds reading for tap water. A lot of the peoples readings were in the 600-800 range.

My tap is about 60ppm too, pretty good.

Jason, yeah, your RO/DI water is OK up to 7-10ppm... I get about 1ppm usually even with a totally fresh set of filters.
