Recipes for fish food?

A while back I saw a recipe for homemade frozen fish food, would anyone by chance have that recipe, or any other good for tangs, chromis, and clown, as well as several kinds of inverts.

Jeff showed me his recipe, and there's no real "formula", you jsut go to grocery store and get bunches of seafood, and go to aisan market and get nori. I used oysters, shrimp, flake food and crushed/shredded nori, 1/2 of it is pureed, and the other half is coursely chopped, recombine, and freeze in ziploc bags (thin)... then cut up into squares, and store them in freezer, cut into sections that are however big you need to feed daily, I cut mine into 1.5" squares... just drop into tank frozen, it'll quickly thaw, especially with my water flow.

ive made some also, and i use a piece of lighting egg crate material as a cube mold. take shrimp, squid, romaine lettuce, nori, garlic, and selcon and freeze it

I've seen garlic mentioned several times today, what's up with that, are you talking fresh garlic and how much do you use?

Fresh garlic is good, I buy the extract at the grocery store. It is suppose to be good for fish and it will also help fend of parasites. I also add ginger to fish food too.

Ok just say when I am finished mixing up all my ingredients, and I have a cup of food, how much garlic extract and ginger would you put in. I would hate to over dose the poor guys. Hey now, that might keep my yellow tang off the Naso!

I'm sure all that garlic gives them bad breath. Maybe that how it keeps parasites off. For one cube of fish food I add a few drops and I add about 1 spoonful(saliferts test kit spoon) of minced ginger. I buy ginger roots and peel off the bark and put it in a blender with a litte RO water and blend until its really smooth with no lumps. One root will go a long ways. I don't think you will hurt anything if you add a little too much garlic. You can read the directions on a bottle of kent garlic extreme to get an Idea.
