Keeping the glass clean

Post by tbmoore »

Just looking for ideas on keeping the glass clean on the outside...I use Mag-Floats everyday to clean the glass...that takes care of the inside but that salt haze on the outside....well if you have a reef you know...The best I have found so far is to keep a little rain-x on the glass but as it ages I still have a tough time keeping the salt haze off...fish do splash and it spreads like an std.......using newspaper and windex ect I can get it back where it needs to be but always looking for ways to improve......Ideas welcome.

Salt Creep

Post by megelBeagle »

I've found that if you rub a little mineral/baby oil, it cuts down on salt creep. Just a little on the outside, at the top under the lip.
