Yup, Mastiff's are great dogs.
My parents had friends with a Mastiff as a guard dog. He commented one time that he was afraid if anyone broke into their home, he'd be sued cause the dog slept all the time and the crooks would trip over him and break a limb or get hurt falling over him.
