New tank stuff woohoo

I just placed an order for my new bulbs and have the pendants on the way after christmas. I'm taking out my SE MH bulbs and I'm installing two Reef Optic III pendents and will be useing the new Geisemann 250watt 13k bulbs. I heard they were nice bulbs. I will have one spider reflector with mogal base and a Ushio 10k 250watt bulb for sale then. I had to modify the reflector to make it fit in the hood with my vho's. I also just added a TUNZE stream 6000 with multicontroler. Talk about some major water movement. It is a bit big for a 55 gal tank but i'll make it work. It really is keeping the detritus off the bottom of my bare bottom tank. One more piece left in this puzzle as far as equipment goes(calcium reactor). If anyone would be interested in that bulb then let me know. I hope to have my new stuff up in probably 2 weeks, hopefully. Oh and after losing about half of my SPS the ones that didn't completely die are coming back. I'm glad because i have a blue tort on the way after christmas.

Tunze Streams are awesome. I just added one more 6000 to my tank also. They are totally wonderful.

Hey fishfood, do you have the multicontroller or the single controller? If you have the multicontroller, are you planning to add some more Streams in the future?

I actually have the single controller. It was the 6010 kit. I got it for a good price also. $275 and that included shipping. There is no way i'd try to add another to a 55 gal tank. I have the tuzne which says it puts out 1850 gph, 3 maxi jet 1200's which put out 295 gps(each) and the mag 7 for the return which is around 450 at 4ft head. That is a total of 3185 gph on about 50 gals. That is like 63 times turn over an hour. I love the movement in my tank. I would never be able to get away with it if i didn't have a bare bottom tank. Some of the fish don't like it though. They will soon be coming out to go into another tank and I'll add a few more wrasse or basslets. I can't wait to get the lights now. I've only heard good things about the new Geisemann 13k's. Might be able to take down the VHO, but i like the evening affect i get with them.

If any of you are looking for some TUNZE streams the guy i got mine from said he had more comming in this week. I think he said he is getting the 6100's in. The price i got was good i think. They are on PremiumAquatics for $295.36 and that is before shipping. He is Oceanrealm on RC and his name is Tom.

Oh and I'll sell the Ushio 10k 250 wt bulb for $40 if anyone wants it. It ran for 4 to 5 hours a day for the first 3 months and then I bumped it up to 7 for about a month. Then when i moved it wasn't on for almost a month and the last 3 or so weeks it has been on between 2 and 5 hours as i brought the lighting back up. I hope to have my pendents in within a week or two after christmas. Then i'll be able to take it down and get it to someone if anyone wants it.
