just bought a new (old ) boat actully the one my grandpaw used to take me out on as a child

just wondering if anyone else on here enjoys fishing, and knee boarding ect.....

I haven't been fishing in a few years, but I used to love fishing off the jetties in South Florida. Best trip though was fishing the reefs and mangroves off of Key Largo w/ my Grandfather, his Best Friend, and my brothers... Followed up by a night of shrimping during a run @ Largo Sound.

i knee board every chance i get near a boat. ive have 2 jelly body glove jackets and an old Arial 360 HO board. we use to have a little speed boat till the tank started leaking.

I spent most of my life right there by your house fishing big creek lake and fishing down behind the spill way catching crappie bream and striped bass. Used to ride my 4 wheeler there every afternoon but now they will ticket you if you fish off the bank ????

yeah that is true
thats why i don't do much fishing in big creek lake

i have a camp in bates lake in malcolm
i go up there and fish and if i get board i can throw out the innertube and catch a few waves
i sold my small lil boat (i couldn't fit more than two people on it)
now i have a 1976 glasstron 17' long and 6' wide so i can take the whole family out now

personally never had much luck out there besides cats

thinkin bout goin crabbin, been having the taste for them lately

The only time we really ever had any luck was when the spill way was running. Could catch a mess of bream and crappie. Or once the spill way closed you could take a bow and get some gar that pushed 6+ feet.

i'm more of a cat fisher, drop a line with liver on it and they will come to you, or better yet you can throw some deer corn out and come back in a few hours and they are already there lol
