Checking interest for a Tunze 9010 Skimmer
I have recently decided to get out of the reef hobby and have a skimmer I would like to see if anyone is interested in. I have a Tunze 9010 skimmer rated for up to 264 gallons. I have had the skimmer for a little over a year, some of which it was not being used due to the tank not being stocked. The only problem I have had with the skimmer is that I lost the screw that adjusts the air inlet. I always ran it wide open (wet skimming) anyway so it never effected me. I don't think that a new one was very expensive, maybe $8 or so and the Tunze rep Roger on ReefCentral is one of the most helpful guys you could ever meet.
I gave $366 for the skimmer new and would like to get $225 for it. Let me know if anyone is interested. Below is a link to the skimmer for sale at Marine Depot in case you have any questions regarding the specs.

I was very pleased with this skimmer. I had it on a 55 Gallon with a 20 Gal. Sump and felt it could have handled a much larger tank. I think it would have slightly been overkill for a 30 Gal.

I almost have the go ahead to do another tank that would be sumpless but I won't be getting it for a while. This skimmer would be perfect. Did you try RC yet?

If I didn't already have my Deltec, I would have jumped on this. These are very nice skimmers.

No I haven't be because you have to have 50 posts to put anything into the for sale forum and I haven't been that active there.

Do you have anything else for sale? Sorry you are leaving the hobby.
