AquaCube

My Aquacube came in today from Petwarehouse.....with a big old crack in the back. I was not happy about the crack, but wow what a nice tank. Has anyone checked these out ?

Are those the ones that have the rimless top? The pictures i've seen look great, but i've never seen one in person. We expect pics when you get it replaced and set up :)

Do you have a link to them? I have honestly never even heard of them before, but if it is rimless, it probably looks quite nice (minus the crack, of course). Will be waiting for pics... :D

did you get the 24 or 12 ...i have the 24 at home with the 150 mh ...still tring to get time to set it up though

This is for my office so I opted for the 12 gallon.

Drop that 24 gallon by my house and I will set it up for you :)

there are some threads on RC about modifying those with lights and vent fans. Might want to look those up if you weren't aware of them.

It actually has a fan tied to the white bulb and comes on then. I am not sure if it is a 120 volt or 12 volt, either way the fans are cheap when it fails. I loved the design of the hood though. It is designed to really keep the bulbs cools and not evaporate the water in the process. Also as a plus the bulbs are totally shielded from water and splash.

Most ppl I know who have those absolutely love them. Sure looks nice. Do the smaller ones have a skimmer? I've wondered if those skimmers are any good one the ones Ive seen.

Well it does not come with one, nor do I know if they even make one. I am going to look into it though.
