It does look really nice. As long as you keep it well fed it should look better each week. Takes some time to acclimate (as all do) but they are beautiful creatures. Most that I've seen do not look this healthy. Good luck with it.

Thanks! Yeh it is a pretty healthy specimen from what ive seen of others. It has allready kinda trained me to know when its hungry. lol each night at about the same time its tents start to come out...So i know its time to feed!

They will all beome yellow when fully extended. This is about halfway extended. After it eats, the polyps extend fully and look very yellow, including the tissue, from stretching out so far, I would assume.
I know they all become yellow when extended but this one polyp NEVER retracts. And also only the tentacls are yellow not the rest of the coral. It is always out. The coral itself is pink right? This one is yellow only. Is my coral just a freak of nature or is this another animal? heh Just curious!!
