Today I noticed my Clowns were being particularly annoying to the Caulastrea they've taken up in. After a while of watching I realized this particular intense nipping of the bottom of one of the branches was due to the female ready to lay eggs. This is the first time in the new tank they've done this, and the first time they haven't used the little PVC pipe they used to call home. I took a few pics, and as usual one or two are even worth fooling with, but it's pretty cool.
In the first one one, she's laying, he's fertilizing; the second is just her laying some more eggs and the last is a pic of the eggs so far, more to come, I'm sure. Note the polyps aren't particularly thrilled about it.
