I just picked up this coral yesterday and need an ID if anyone knows what it may be. The store said it was a short polyp flowerpot but I don't think so.

To me it looks like a short polyp flowerpot. So I guess I would agree with the store.

i would agree with andy i also think it is some variety of goniapora(flowerpot) not sure why the polyps are so retracted.. may have it in to much flow... they seem to prefer less current.

Yes its an LPS, Goniopora usually seems to do better in lower flow areas and you want to feed it regularly.
