I have visions of a caribean beach with a sailboat on the horizon when I hear the name, but err, no, never used that brand.

well, searches on reefcentral dont seem to show anything, seems to be a dirge of "new" bulbs hitting the market from China lately though... Really good prices, but the CRI seems to be kinda poor on them.

The reason I ask is because I will be changing out the bulb in my cube and right now I am running a 10K and want a higher spectrum. I found a 13K and a 20K. What would you suggest? Right now I am leaning towards the 13K made by aqualine.

I'm running a cheap 14k from Sun Aquatics as one of my bulbs... Its been in use for approx 9 months. I still love the color, but the intensity is
just not there like it is on the 10k's.

You've probably already seen it but I love this page: It lists lots of great info on the intensity, etc of various bulbs

seems like there is a lot of interest in the Phoenix 14k bulbs. I'm running 14k Hamiltons and i'm not sure how much I like them. Before that I had the Geiseman 14k.
