Item suggestions for Emergency Kit
I am putting together an emergency kit to put in my new Element (as well as another in my wifes car) I want it to be the size of a small backpack or video camera bag. It needs to be water-resistant at the least. Aside from the basic First-Aid Items(gauze, bandaids, ointment, medical tape, etc) What items should I put in this kit that might come in handy?
Jumper cables, a $20 bill, fix-a-flat, tire pressure gauge, a knife or leatherman tool, or maybe a swiss-army knife? , A small container for gas or water, basic tools, a shop manual, a spanish translation book, so when you have to run to mexico

Um a flashlight ? Or maybe also a light that will plug in the lighter, if it its dark outside none of that stuff will do you much good.
