Been away for awhile, selling off a few things

Post by wtrhed »

Sorry for not checking in on yall for awhile. We finally purchased our house and have been VERY busy for the past few months. The tank has been rather far down the to do list and I will admit I haven't been taking very good care of it. Everything is still super happy and nothing has died but I do have a pretty good algae bloom. I wouldn't mind selling the whole setup but I doubt that anyone would make an offer. I will sell anything in it though. I have some very "cherry" pieces such as super blue zoas, green Acan Lord, orange/green Acan micromussa, greenish purple efflo, pink chalice and several other nice corals. I also can sell thje Geo Reef Ca reactor, a dual 400wtt pfo fixture with everything and several other odd and ends just ask.

If anyone would like the entire setup which would include a few months old drilled 110gl tank with a VERY nice custom stand and canopy, Ca reactor w/ everything, 3 400wtt pfo's and SEVERAL bulbs, 100gpd 5 stage RO/DI,Dolphin 3600gpm pump, ASM G4 skimmer(I think, it's the large one), mag 12 return pump, at least 400lbs of rock, 100lbs of sand and all livestock. I will sell for all for $4000 obo and I will finance. Make offer if interested I will negotiate.

I am asking what I paid for most of these. All of them are high dollar corals though. The blue zoas (same as in my avatar) are $175 and there are SEVERAL polyps, the efflo is $120, green Acan lord from Atlantis has 3 LARGE heads and 3 babies for $185 and it is a killer color, the pink chalice from Atlantis is the same price that they are selling it for, and I think the Micromussa might have to hit e-bay. I also have three ULTRA grade clams that will need a good home. One came from Xster and is HUGE the other two are CRAZY snakeskin patterned croceas I will take $80 for each and $100 for the large one ( I paid $75 for him but he has grown a ton with the Ca reactor and will definatley bring this) All prices are somewhat negotiable. Almost all of these corals were purchased online from very high end dealers so I am trying to recoup some of the cost

First thing I am sorry to see you selling everything off and I am glad that you have gotten a house of your own. We hope that you still keep in touch. Do you plan on setting up another tank some day. I may want the reactor setup. What do you want on it.

Scott I will try to get a shot of it tonite when the lights are on but as you know my new camera really bites. Andy, I'll take $300 for the whole setup which includes the reactor(almost brand new), new bucket of media, bubble counter and solenoid, 5lbs tank, all pumps, and a pH controller WELL WORTH IT!!!! This thing ROCKS!! And yes I am keeping my peacock mantis and some other things I just need to downsize. Maybe I'll go back to my old 75 which I liked a ton better anyway.

Nice stuff but a bit expensive for my blood... You have anything that you need to frag just in case it doesn't make the move. :)

You had mentioned some blue/green monty or something a while back.

Anyway when my stuff grows out I'll put you second on my list... I owe Phil some acro frags when things grow out, or I happen to get something new.

Everything is obo but these are very rare pieces and I am selling them for what I paid minus shipping most came from Atlantis or Aquadesignz so the price can be checked. The blue zoa rock is twice as large as when I bought it for $125 and I have yet to see any half as nice. As for the white with blue polyp monti, it browned out pretty bad but it still has the blue polyps. I do have several other acros that I will sell for what I have in them say $40-$75. I hate to get rid of them but the house needs some improvements and I am low on cash after closeing, insurance prepays, blah, blah. I figured I would give everyone local first dibs before e-bay or R/C

I'll call you. The Ca reactor is the only piece of equipment that can be sold as of now because the tank is still fully stocked. I have to sell off all livestock before selling any vital equip.
