I want to get a clown that will actually host in my bubble. Can I get a maroon or something, even though I already have a percula? Or will a clown duel insue?
It a crap shoot finding a clown that will host with anything. I have had skunks, maroons, a cinnimon and false percs in a 55 gallon at one time. The skunk was the smallest and dominant. At another time I had a maroon, a couple of saddlebacks and two true percs and I had to remove the maroon because it was trying to kill all the others. After that the other four lived together for quite a while. Now I only have the two true percs and they are hosted with my frogspawn, not the vacant condi that I hate.
