Tiger Turbo
The LFS suggested that I use Tiger Turbo's to get rid of Hair Algae, anyone have any suggestions on how that would work. Thanks

First I would test the water before I took any action.

Actually your best bet is to find out why you have the algae, but I think i know what snails you are talking about. Reef Scapes carries these snails that are larger then turbos but not as big as the mexican turbos. They have a red and white stripped shell. I got a few at one point and all died but one. That little baster was fast. He never came out when the lights were on but made laps around the tank when they were off. I think I still have that one in our little tank. I'm not sure.

Correct I bought the same thing from B&B and they ALL died. I think they are meant for colder water, beware.Fishfood wrote:Actually your best bet is to find out why you have the algae, but I think i know what snails you are talking about. Funny mine are all alive. Ironcage also bought some with no casualties, might want to go to Progressive Marine.

Nah, I never shop on-line anymore. Shipping is too high unless you order a huge amount of livestock.
