Just kidding....you could be right...my only point being is run as few fans as you can to keep the temp down...up to when I got the MH I never had to run more than one small fan....If you are running 4 fans then turn one off and see what difference it makes.. if less than one deg then I would turn off another and so forth till you reach the min. Also placement of fan is important...I use mine to remove heat from hood and not to evaporate the water.....nothing more....of course now that I am running MH I run a chiller but before that I was just fine without one and with one fan..that was with 110gal and 4 x 6ft vho along with several underwater pumps....I do think we all agree that a stable temp is what is important more than the actual temp....your tank should be ok up to 82-83 deg as long as it is stable...in the real world water reaches that temp with no problems.....
