Eating frags?

Post by Scott »

No, not me. I made a few frags of a leather Saturday. I super glued them to a rubble and placed them in a corner so that they didn't get too much flow. Yesterday they were fine, all were expanding polyps. Today when I got home from work they were all gone. All that is left on the rubble is the superglue residue. Any ideas on what might have eaten them?

not eaten...slimmed off...check around the tank, theyre somewhere in there, if not, then it was dead and your clean up crew got ahold of it, but you dont have anything that will eat corals in your tank...

I agree, fell off. Might be behind the rock, happens to me all the time.

I found a few of them. That is why I usually don't like superglue.

I tried to put one between two rocks and jammed the other in a crevace. Now I have lost the *beep* things again. I have never had this much problem before, so I am going to go searching for them again.

I can empathize with you. I have a colt frag in my sump in a basket that I have attempted to superglue about 5 times. It keeps jumping off. I am just gonna let the sucker lay in there until it attaches to something.

If you happen to figure out how to get it stick let me know how you did it!

Gotta sew it on or do the toothpick trick with the colt lzb3. It won't hurt it and it'll attach in a couple of days.

Well now i know, great link. Keep that one bookmarked. I knew about the toothpicks, but not the rubberbands.

Should mention.. it is hard to pull the wood ones out later because they are porous, as I found out the hard way.
