Look'in good.

From the pics it did not look like you had much surface agitation. What do you use to keep the water broken on the surface for oxygen exchange.

By the way... I am a big fan of feather dusters.... Yours looks great in there !

the surface does get broken up alot you just cant really see it in the piture. but i am using a Cascade 300 (refugium).

Shagman:
It is a colt coral i got from i guy i work with. the sad part is that the mother coral of this frag (hard to believe its a frag) died in the hurricane so i will be fraging it off sometime to give him part of his colt back.
I was able to take a few pics of my plate coral this morning whe it was fat and happy.

That plate looks cool. When you do frag that colt could I get a peice of it. The frag that I got from snakeman back in June died from the hurricane. I am also wanting to get a frag of kena tree if anyone has one (it too died in the hurricane).

NM354, can you post your maintenence schedule on the 20g? I have never been able to keep a small tank that happy... how often do you do water changes, feeding, chemical additions, spill your beans!

Its funny that you ask that because i don't really do anything special to the tank. I have done one water change so far and it was only like 4 gallons. I have 50lbs of sand w/ a plenum which is the reason that i don't have to do water changes. everything stays at zero. I have about 560 gph 130watts of light. i am running a cascade 300 refugium with some with what i think is like a 5 watt pc above it. everyday i dose tech cb A and B and Kent Iodine. on saturdays i do Strontium and Molybdenum and randomly i will use iron for the macro. i drip kalkwasser with the kent doser into the fuge. don't really have a set time the light is on try to have them on by at the latest 10 and off by 1:30 -12. I will feed micro-vert at least every two weeks. the clown fish eats bio-blend staple food and occasionally will get some brine shrimp. the hectors goby just eats what he finds. thats about it on the regular maintnace hopefully it can help you. let me know if you have any questions.
