Oct Meeting

Post by Phisher »

After moving my tank most of my sps frags browned up after taking months to finally get some good color. I am a bit discouraged and think I might phase most of it out. So I can bring:

Sm colony (3" with several branches) of teal stag $10 mounted*
1 sm frag of same $5 mounted
Sm frag of either purple/orange digi (these still have some color) $5 unmounted
Sm frag orange cap $5 unmounted
Sm frag purp rim cap $5 unmounted

Also have a cuke about 6" long that does a great job of skimming the surface of the sand that needs a new home $10 Pic in my gallery.

Consider trade or partial trade for lps or softies. I also need a vho ballast and a hangon or canister filter.

See you there.

Joe

I'd like to get this
"Sm colony (3" with several branches) of teal stag $10 mounted* "
from you at the meeting.

I'm bringing some Monti cap frags, that have broken when moving the rocks around , I'll mount them on some rubble.

Ok will do. Just to clarify, Andy the purple/orange are seperate corals, not 2 color.

Andy the cuke has a harliquin shrimp on its head, not really a good pic of the cuke.

Jahdiel I'll see what I can do.

I don't think that I am going to get the cuke, but where can I find harliquin shrimp. That thing is cool looking. I have seen pics of them before but have never seen them for sale anywhere.

If noone else wants to buy the cuke, bring him , I'll buy him from you. My long time resident cuke had an unfortunate incident with a powerhead and I just haven't replaced him.

I'm keeping the softies dang it! LOL.

Brandon unless he disappears between no and them I'll bring him. He does an awesome job but I got rid of the sand in my big tank when I moved.

Andy harliquin shrimp have very special dietary needs to be considered. I got that one from James though. Tragically he is a victom of Ivan along with my cleaner shrimp. :(

I'm curious how many members have "mixed" tanks and of those how many are about ready to do a "swap" to get all the way to SPS or to Softies?

I'm strongly leaning towards that myself. I think in about 6 months I'll have to do it in order to make room for my SPS corals that are growing.

Just a random thought.
