well im about to start up with my tank again!!! the first time it was the flood this time it was a move and ivan

the live rock that i have is in a couple of 40 gallon cans ive got skimmers and pumps on them

my questions is there is a little bild up of gunk in them from settleing debris i also have a few 40 gallon cans of saltwater is it ok to use a brush to clean some of the build up off

there is not very much life that i think is on them

I've always just shook a rock hard when there's a lot of sand or gunk on 'em, I've never scrubbed one... I know there are people here who have tho...

Blast it with a powerhead and then shake it in a different bucket to get the rest off.
Wanted: to set up a tank again.
