We have had ours for about a month or so (he actually made it through the hurricane). He comes out at least once a week. We don't have a large sand bed though.

I have 2 that just showed up a couple years ago. They must have came in with some rock. They were only about 1/2" long back then. Since then I've gotten babies.

I do not have a lot of livestock, but I do like these starfish. They seem to stay in view all the time.

The starfish is on a montipora that encrust on tubeworms. Each peak has a tubeworm inside. I think the correct name is:

Montipora Crassibtuberculata ...or something like that.

Could you post another picture of the Monti in a new thread? I would like to see some closer pictures of it. It looks pretty cool itself.

I am leaving for San Diego in about 2 hours. I do not have time to take a photo (plus lights are not on). As soon as I get back (hopefully Friday), I can post a couple pics for you. I notice RM has 1 on their sight right now.

I personally like everything in my tank, but I guess what's really cool is the Goby/Shrimp pair in it.

Oh and all my ricordia...

And the tiny branches of Torch....

Crap, it's all cool...I am a reef head...I get tickled seeing my snails poke their antennae out of the sand and zoom around hidden, seeing my Frogspawn eat, seeing the brain fluff up after its eaten....I like it all.
