If you end up losing power and r stuck with no way to keep up with filtration, all i can say is do small water changes every day or every other day or so and hope for the best. Cuz if ur poor like me and can't afford a generator, then I hope u have a plan in mind. It's 8:38 PM wed. night and I am here at the new Hilton Inn in Daphne and I've got my live rock in 5 G buckets and my fish in a bucket with a battery powered air stone. Along with a cooler full ice cold beer (you know how we do it).At first i thought folks would think I was crazy to bring my fish up here, but people have they're dogs here so, I figure my fish can't be nastier that them. but anyway, good luck with all your tanks and I'm thankful there is still power here, it will probably go out any minute now. Peace out to all my fellow reef nuts out there, be safe and God help us all!

My bathroom is leaking from the ceiling and the glass block window already, not good. Shrimp must not like the barometric pressure change, mine are trying to exit the tank,

I am very sorry for the loss Mike, i do not see you getting out of the hobby though. Did the rock you get from Liz survive ?

I lost my ten gallon, but all the freshwater fish survived.....
I can really understand your thought Mike, I was just sure we had lost everything...house and all, and really didn't think I would be able to do it again. Give it a little time and if you decide to try again or need anything, I and others here would be happy to donate livestock for your tank.
