I guess since posting is really slow tonight, I will introduce you to Dory..my cocker spaniel. She was born Dec. 15th last year and I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. We drove all the way to Banks, AL (about 5 miles due east from Troy) She was my Birthday present from my fiancee! Here are pics of her from the day we got her...till tonight.
Shes the best dog ever!

This is the first night at her new home. She was good the entire way home. She even got out and pottied, and it was a very cold night too. Such a sweet girl! - dory1_23_04.jpg (43.68 KiB) Viewed 1721 times

Does she have any type of bad temper ? When i was looking at Cockers several people told me they have tendencies to snap at children. They look too nice of a dog to have a temper, but sometimes looks are deceiving.

She bites when she plays but shes never bites hard or excessively ....Shes just like any other dog I have played with. Actually my family has always had cockers...all of them have been female, so I cant speak for the male ones...but all of them have been really sweet dogs and really good with kids. Only problem we have ever had was with the excited tinkling that they sometimes are guilty of.
I recommend Cockers to anyone. Pretty easy to upkeep...just have to brush them a lot and make sure that their ears are clean. As for me...I will probably always have a cocker around. They are my favorite breed.
