I have a Cold Gold Cup National Match that I like very much, the only other gun that I possibly like more in my Ruger 22/45. It is cheap and cheap to shoot.

I gotta buy a good hunting rifle this year. Hope I catch a deal somewhere. I hope to actually get in the woods this year.... before I get too damned fat to climb a tree! :P

I like my Ruger .300 Winchester Magnum. I really like Ruger rifles though. I have the stainless/synthetic with a Leopold Vari-X II scope. There are much better scopes but you really have to pay to get them.

Most 1911 style comp guns that use a double-stack mag like the Para Ordinance, STIs, Caspians, Brileys, and the new Kimbers etc. are able to use the hi-cap competition mags like the ones used in IPSC. Even though they are "pre-ban" you can buy them in pieces, like replacement parts except you can buy ALL the parts. (for competition only) get it? Some of these mags are well over 20 rounds. :D Not cheap. :( Though lots more fun than the 8 round "Clinton" mags

Yeah , and the ABS replicated beryllium composite mounting rig reduces jam up's in the hydro cooled RFS , hi- velocity mags. Isn't there a flux capacitor in here somewhere? :?

Dammit, I hate not knowing what people are talking about...especially when it's guy's talking about cool stuff and using a bunch of acronyms. I am constantly confused by women, but don't feel so bad about that. :x

I *finally* talked my wife into letting me get a pistol... I have to wait until the end of this year (three months). Para Ordnance Tac-Four here I come!

OK, I cheaped out and bought a FireStorm govt. length 1911 (made in SPain)... it was only ~$350, should be good enough for some casual firing range fun :) I bought a year's membership at the Mobile shooting center, gonna go try it out this afternoon.
