Banded Coral Shrimp- on a stick

I am about to skewer my banded coral shrimp if he does'nt lay off the shrooms. He steady tromps and pulls at them ...most of them refuse to open he's so beligerant with them :evil:

I like the look of them, but they are a problem.

I have seen them in reef tanks before. Are they just a problem with mushrooms or is it their general behavior that annoys the corals? Just wondering because I would like to have one eventually. Before you skewer him let me know, maybe we could trade something. I'll try most things (not that they always work).

Yeah, I see what you mean. I really want some cleaner shrimp, so I better steer clear of the CBS. I should have known that anything with claws like tat would be trouble. If they only ate hair algea instead of livestock!

Maybe a LFS has a Trigger Rental program that could help you clear up that shrimp problem.

I think I will try and remove him tomorrow. Have not decided what to do with him once he is out.....think it is going to depend on how cooperative he is :twisted:
