Being prepared

Post by tbmoore »

I just lost the pump to my skimmer....last wk it was the pump to my chiller. I run Mag 12 and a Mag 24. Good pumps but had a while. Yesterday in middle of water change discovered did not have enough salt. had to go and pay top dollar in Gautier for a bag. My point being I think I am going to go ahead and stock extra pumps and watch my invertory on chem better.. cheaper to stock an extra than get in a bind. Still trying to call Rich and see if he has a pump. My chem bag got a hole in it also that I use for carbon....I need to stock one of those also...I do carry extra test kits and usually have xtra salt...just screwed up....Just much easier and cheaper if it is in stock here at the house than going to the store. I am going to need it anyway....JMO

I'm running a mag 900 and a 700 if you want to pick some some of those pump up too. You never know. If I ever need them I'll buy them from you at cost.

I am poor, i cannot do that ! I do stock one Rio that can be used in the tanks for an emergency. It is a cheap pump and can push the bigger tanks if i ever get in a bind. If it gets too bad i can rig up something, ghetto or not i can keep them up until UPS gets here.
