Good stores around town?
Are there any places to buy saltwater critters other than B&B in the Mobile Area. If not, where's the closest?

There are:
Progressive Marine (off Cody Rd)
Waggy Tail (Daphne)
Amazon's River (Foley)
Custom Reefs (Pascagoula)
Reefer's Aquatics (Pensacola)
Reefscapes (Pensacola)
Aquaworks (Pensacola)
Aquaria (Pensacola)
Water World (Pensacola)
Ricks Reef (New Orleans)
Coral Connection (New Orleans)
There are a few others in the Gulfport area and some farther in Florida but I don't have much experience with them. If you search these names here you will find some information on some of them. Just curious, what are you looking for?

DONT!!
Whatever you do do not go to Reefscapes, they obviously have no knowledge of anything. Seriously that place is a coral slaughterhouse. Not to mention that the staff has no experience in the industry whatsoever. Aquaworks is a fine store as is Aquaria, Water World is a bit high priced but they are very nice people. But whatever you do avoid Reefscapes.
Gulfview aquatics is NW Florida's affordable aquarium maintenance choice.

Who's this "Rich" I keep hearing about. What's hi
Who's this "Rich" I keep hearing about? What's his setup?
http://www.progressivemarine.com/
He runs a tank maintenence and reef shop out of his house... call before you go, and best time to find him at home is late afternoon or evenings, since he does his tank maintenence in the mornings usually. You can reach him at 639-4591 (it's listed in the yellow pages too). He usually has a little less fish in stock than B&B, however he has a MUCH better coral selection, you can't even compare the two.

I went to Waggy Tail yesterday to look and see if they had anything good. Their stock in fish and corals is really sad. The only thing that somewhat interest me was a devils hand that they had that was about 3 or 4” big that they wanted to charge me $40. They need to really update their stock and prices.

Andy next time you head to Biloxi there is a guy in D'Iberville you need to see. His place is just a few minutes s. of I10, usually doesnt have many corals but good prices when he has them. Good prices on fish, he keeps things you dont see much over here-anthias, fairy wrasse, mantis shrimp, etc.
