two new tangs (last two I hope)!

Post by ShagMan »

I stopped by Rich @ Progressive Marine, and got two tangs that I fell in love with. I got both of these tangs for $87 with tax which seemed like a great deal to me... the sailfin is TEENY small, but the Naso was a good size... the Naso has damaged lips and some color variations in the grey it seems, but nothing else really wrong with them.... took only a few hours for them to settle in. Without further delay, here they are!

The new tangs look great. Did he have any more of the naso tangs?

He had a baby, about 2" long. Better go tomorrow if you want it, he tends to sell his stuff out fast, and I bought the large one for $45, so his prices are definitely right.

I'm sure he'll sell the smaller one for less... the sailfin I got was $35 (it was a redsea too), I think the low price was mostly because of the small size.

I called Rich today and he said he would sell me the naso for $35 should I buy it or not?

I bought the naso tang yesterday along with an Anemone and a percula. I got the tang and anemone for $30 each.

The anemone that I got was a large long tentical that is whit with some color tips I dont remember the color because all of the tips of it got stuck in a power head the first night I got it. It is doing fine now though. Other bad news is yesturday I came home and the perc had died. I was a little disapointed in the naso tang because it does not have a lot of color on its face like shagman's. But I will be happy if the anemone and the tang live.
