Pipe Organ problems
My pipe organ is starting to die! What should I do to try and keep it alive.
I have had it for about a month with no problems until I started moving things in and out and around the tank to get things the way I liked them. After I did this it started to die. My spung is also starting to die I have only had it for about a week. I am using phytoplex for the spung and B-Ionic calcium buffer system (like tech CB) other then that I am not dosing anything else. I just tested the water the other day and every thing was fine.

What parameters did you test?
What kind of test kits?
Are you using RO or RO/DI water?
What kind of sponge is dying?
Does anything else look bad?
Did you just start dosing the phyto and how much?
Ever use copper in your tank?
Are you using a skimmer? What kind?
How long has this tank been set up?
I know it's a lot of questions but sometimes it's hard figuring out a reason for these things and I may not be the best person to ask. Maybe with this info someone will be able to help.

Wanted: to set up a tank again.
The tests that I ran were pH, saltwater master liquid test kit (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate), kwik-kit (alkalinity, and phosphate) all liquid test kits. I am using DI water I am not sure of the type of sponge here is a picture my star polyps also look bad. I just started two days ago but things looked bad, longer then that. I used the amount listed on the bottle. No I have never used copper in the tank. I am using a berlin skimmer rated from 50-250 gallons. I have had this tank up for almost two years.

My experience with the pipe-organ has been it grows like nutz and has been very hardy. The only thing I've seen hurt it has been euphyllia sweepers. I think it's just a sympton of something else going on, I'd test the usual nitrates, nitrities, phosphates, ph, etc.. to see if anything is amiss. If all else fails, water changes and carbon. Hope it straightens out for you.
