Sea Urchins
Urchins are really only designed to eat algaes. encrusting ones mainly.
Some will eat macros and micros. I've got some hair algae in my tank and they won't touch it unless the strands are really short. I have heard of some urchins eating corals but I haven't seen it or read anything about that to confirm it. There are some urchins that burrow in the sand that may eat detritus but that is about it.
