Fresh from the gulf.

I went diving today and I got some of the big tube anemones and some sea whips. My camera will not take a good picture of the coral but you can get An idea what it looks like. It's red/purple with white polyps. I saw some anemones today that where over a foot wide. The ones I got today are still mad so they are not out all the way yet.

If the sea whips have white polyps doesn't that mean that they are not photosynthetic? Those are really cool anemone's. Are they just white?

they come in all different colors but they are really hard to get up. Most of them are whitesh with yellow tips. I saw a pretty red one but couldn't dig it up.

That is very close to color of what B&B sold me as Gorgonia.

The Gorgonia from there had purple polyps though.

They are at least the same order. There are many genera that are labeled Gorgonians but are probably not. I have never seen one for sale that had white polyps. Let us know how it does. I REALLY like the pictures of the white tube anemones. Are they common around here?
