I thought it might be interesting to start a thread on things not to be mixed in a reef tank. Too many times have i burned a coral not knowing, mixed a fish to find it did not get along. I am going to start a couple off the top of my head and everyone feel free to add to it. The first post will have the list and i will add and edit as the thread goes.

Hey, now, I have to disagree on that This comes down to a "territory vs. space available" thing. I have kept clowns (maroon and true perc) at least until the maroon disapeared (probably due to either the carpet or the conde anemone), and am keeping three yellow tangs and a purple tang... it all depends on tank size

It may be a territory thing but I had a couple of different types of clowns that were all very small with an extremely small maroon and the maroon tortured and killed them all.
