I came home friday and grabbed some stuff from the house and as I was leaving I saw something on the floor. It turned out to be a rather dry Yellowheaded Sleeper Goby. Now it was in the middle of the floor and had to come form the back of the tank some 8 feet away. He was dry, but I notices a tad of movement so I popped him back in the water. Had to run out so I checked when I got home.

There he was, sifting away! I think he was playin dead for the cat

I have seen fish dry out, very dry and make it just fine. Quite amazing, but then again a little disease from a temp shift and there ass is gone.

He must have been very depressed, since his second attempt at suicide worked. That sucks bigtime!

Well, one of my squamipinnis sp. anthias decided that it looked better stiff and dry also. Or maybe the 280 G tank is just a tad bit small for him. Just found him awhile ago in the fishroom. Looks like it happenned on Sunday, I guess he wanted to see the Super Bowl pretty bad. Next year, I will place a small TV in front of the tank.

It's a suicidal uprising against being cooped up in an aquarium.
