Hi to all
My name Is Herb Shaeffer (reefaddict)
Iam a newbee so please bare with me untill I get the hang of this posting messages.
I live in Loxley Al. and have a 120gal high reef and fish tank. My son (finaddict) got me into this hobby a couple of years ago although I did have a freshwater tank when I was in the service stationed in Germany.
I am having problems with my tank from high nitrates, probably from over feeding.
My son and I just hooked up an AquaMedic nitrate reducter in hopes it will help. Anyone have any other ideas about how to reduce high nitrates all help will be appreciated
Thanks to all

Need to find out what caused the problem...If it is overfeeding then you can cut back to prevent. To help for the bad water now do a 20% water change then recheck after a day. If you add a fuge it will help prevent. Good luck and welcome to the board. Terry
