Hey Josh, it is a long tenticle anemone, kinda greenish, brownish, pinkish tips. You should be able to see it one of my tank's pics in the gallery.

Here it is

Hey Kevin, do not feel bad, I have had nothing but bad luck  with anemones (at least 10) until I bought this one over a year ago for the hotel's tank. This is the first one I have had any success with. I have talked to many people and they all state that most of anemones are collected in a very harsh manner, hence the bad track record. Just my opinion.

I would love to wk something out but do not know where to put it where it would not kill something else. I have tried two and both died within a wk. do not know if it is me or just bad stock

Anemones are just hard to keep. They should probably not be in fs for sale. The life span is practically forever yet most people can't keep them for more than a few years in their aquarium. That is the general concensus i got from a lot of research into them. It looks like the Bubble tips are the easiest to keep and with the amount of rose anemones that are being produced out there they may be extremely easy. I see some of your tanks and they look great. They have numerous SPS and other fairly demanding coral yet i hear that most of you have tried anemones numerous times and they died. What that tells me is stay away from them becasue they do not do well in captivity even in what looks to be well maintained and established tanks. Now we have one here that split and is doing great. There are always exceptions to the rule. IMO from the info i've gathered they are not worth risking, specifically if they are from the wild. This LTA is doing well and split so i would even maybe give it a shot myself.

I was wondering if you ordered that blasto for you yet. Maybe we can work out something with me adding some cash and the blasto. Let me know what you think.
