I was listening very closely to the radio today and i heard.................

I guess this is an "Alabama Thing" I seriously do not get it. Is "war eagle" some college's mascot? Just wondering.

Yes John... it's an Alabama thing

Two State rivals ... War Eagle is the battle cry for Auburn's football team the Auburn tigers.

Auburn and Alabama play tomorrow so I was just getting things fueled up a bit, as it seems Alabama fans need a fire lit under thier arses this year

I do tend to favor the Crimson Tide who's mascot is an elephant. Go figure? I also like the Tigers who's mascot is an eagle. Go figure again? I am not from this glorious state, but it does amaze me that these two schools are so wonderful that they need 2 pseudo mascots each!

Run elephant…I mean ROLL TIDE ROLL!

And
Run tiger…I mean WAR EAGLE!

Happy Iron Bowl day to all my Alabama friends! Whoever your favorite mascot be...I hope they roll, run, fly, or war-on to victory!

Personally I like the Auburn team more than the Crimson Tide. Auburn and LSU always put on a better show than Alabama and LSU.
