Isn't this a VERY high reading? That's what my tank is reading right now, I just got a TDS meter.

Your tank will always be very high. TDS meter is only used to measure the output of your ro/di unit.

I have always wanted one that was inline. But never got around to it. Might be pretty cool, rather inline than the handhelds.

Phew, ok... didn't know what that reading meant :) My RO/DI is reading a strong "3" on the meter, so I guess it's time to change the elements in it (just got the filter change and the TDS meter in the mail the other day).

Hey Josh, honestly "3" on the TDS meter is actually fine. I would not change anything until it hits between 5-10.

Also, remember that all instrumentation needs to be calibrated with a constant in order to obtain accurate readings.

OK thanks for the advice Xster, I'll hang on to my filter change until later then... maybe I have enough filtration time left to fill the 240 :)
