is there anything that i can buy that eats fish waste that is reef safe

You could get a reef safe sand sifter if you would like, I don't really think they are necessary though. Between your cleaning crew and your skimmer if you have one, and your water changes, that should do the trick. When I do my water changes, I kinda swish my siphon hose around the bottom to stir up the bottom a bit then siphon out what is stirred up.
