My clown does it too. When I had an anemone he would look at it like what is that for but lately he has been staying around and playing in my two mushrooms. At first the mushroom would shrivel up but now its used to it. The clown still sleeps at the top of the aquarium with it top fin out of the water. Its kinda wierd.

my clowns mess with my hammer coral and they lay flat on the sand to sleep
